A new jaw-dropping Alan Wake trailer (the one that was shown in cinema's along with Max Payne) has now been released for a wider public! Along with the release of the trailer, the official website has been updated with a ton of new screenshots. The website is a masterpiece considering its design, and it features some very awsome background music. Get ready, Alan Wake is coming. Meanwhile just stay frosty!
The good fansite Bright Falls have translated the Finnish podcast with Alan Wake (and Max Payne) writer Sam Lake. They talk about writing, gaming and the specific game of course. Also mentioned is the Max Payne movie. Go to Brightfalls and read it now.
In line with the new info promised at this time, Finnish site Pelaajalethi has an image from the Alan Wake trailer that will air before the Max Payne movie showings in Finland on 15th October. Check it out at at Pelaajalethi.
As you may have understood from the recent newspost, we are still alive. There's finally more news coming about Alan Wake, I've got interest in the game and I've got some time. Starting with PayneReactor but continuing with WakeReactor, the goal as always is to have the best content available. We are far from there yet, but we will get there. Stay tuned...
As of right now I'm not sure if WakeReactor will exist when the game is out as I'm not sure what my interest in it will be yet. I just have to realize that much of what made PayneReactor great was my enthusiasm for the game and ability to come up with interesting facts in my involvement with the community. If WakeReactor will be a mere newssite someone else have to run it or I will just close it. I'm not sure yet, but there's some work left with the sites.
To be continued...
The Psychological Action Thriller from remedy is rumored to be released in American game shops 2008. The date of the european launch isn't known yet. Seems a while..
I spotted a website (Gamed.nl) on which is stated that Remedy announced Alan Wake will be distributed online. This could mean Microsoft, since Microsoft announced that it is publishing Alan Wake, will setup a steam-like program to sell Alan Wake to the public. Steam is a distributing program from Valve, that checks online if your copy of the game is genuine.

Truth be told we haven't updated the site much recently as far as content is concerned. I will be getting in touch with cypress and giant sheep over the next couple of days but in all fairness to us there hasnt been a great deal happening as far as Alan Wake is concerned.
The good news is that you guys can now submit news via the site. All that you need is a WakeReactor account and you can post news. The link to post news is here.
Before your news is aded to the font page it needs to be validated by an admin, which should take a day or so.
Make sure you are logged in before you post your news and keep the spelling, grammar and language correct and appropriate ;-)
Finally I should be getting a few user features finished off over the next few days as well as download and article submissions.
Regards, Matt.
You can now find new E3 movies showcasing Alan Wake, which it appears will be a Windows Vista and Xbox 360 exclusive. Remedy is cooperating with Microsoft on this one. Check out the movies, in sweet HD Formats at the official site: AlanWake.Net
